Overview

What we do

Mental Health and Complex Needs
Options for Living believe 'a greater understanding' is the key to helping an individual develop to their full potential.

We aim to provide a range of housing and support services that increase independence, improve health and wellbeing and promote recovery. Thus encouraging people to take more control over their lives and their futures. We work with Service Users to help identify their strengths and needs and allow them to take as much control of their lives, environment and support as possible.

Learning Difficulties
Options for Living feel that every person should be given the right to demonstrate their individual potential regardless of any disability.

Individuals with a Learning Disability may need varying levels of support to understand, process or achieve certain tasks. However it should never be assumed that a person 'cannot' achieve a personal goal. Staff will always foster a culture of Independence.

Aspergers and Autism
Autism & Aspergers Syndrome are lifetime conditions affecting how a person makes sense of the world, processes Information and relates to other people.

Options for Living believe 'a greater understanding' is the key to helping an individual develop to their full potential.

People with Autism and Aspergers Syndrome can have a difficult time getting around in what society calls the 'ordinary world'. In fact most people with the condition are just not able to learn' the same way. This is where dedicated support can be life changing.
