Specialist Domestic Abuse Training in Somerset

As domestic abuse can happen to anyone, understanding the signs of domestic abuse and knowing how to respond is vital. These courses are suitable for everyone who provides a service to the public.

All courses are delivered by domestic abuse experts and upcoming dates include:

Level 1 - Identifying the signs of Domestic Abuse

(Cost: Free to Somerset County Council (SCC) employees or £45 to non scc professionals)

22 March 2017 (Bridgwater)

Level 2 - Identifying and Supporting Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGNT) survivors (Cost £50 per person)

26 January 2017 (Langport)

Level 2 - Understanding and Identifying Domestic Abuse in Teenage Relationships (Cost: £50 per person)

7 March 2017 (Taunton)

Level 2 - Engaging Safely with perpetrators of Domestic Abuse (Cost: £50 per person)

29 March 2017 (Langport)

Please note that to attend a Level 2 course you must have recently completed a Level 1 (or equivalent) course or have substantial relevant experience.
