Overview

Well Aware website holds lots of information about health and wellbeing groups, organisations and activities in Bath, Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Somerset, to enable people to get the information they need for themselves, their families or the person they care for

What we do

We provide a directory of services for Avon and Somerset which holds information on health and wellbeing services available to access, offer support and provide guidance to help people to help themselves or to enable carers, friends and family to support others.

The site holds the following types of information:

  • Our Learning Difficulties Resource has lots of helpful information for people with learning difficulties and their carers, including a list of specific learning difficulties services in Easy English. Look out for the red door symbol.

  • Our Low Vision Resource will help if you have been diagnosed with sight loss or another visual impairment. Its sections cover a wide range of low vision issues, starting with advice on what to do when first diagnosed, practical support, emotional support and much more. The resource can be found wherever the Low Vision symbol is displayed.
  • Our Events Diary lists upcoming events being run by Well Aware members. If you are registered Well Aware user, and would like your event listed on it, just click on the Events Diary and follow the instructions on the page. If your service is not yet on Well Aware, click here or on the Login/Register button at the top of this page to put yourself on today.
