Pathways Covered

Women - domestic abuse and sex work
  • We are now delivering a new Domestic Violence Service in Somerset, called Somerset Changes. We are here to support victims of domestic abuse in Somerset, helping them to move away from abuse and build a new life.

  • As part of Somerset Changes, BCHA will be supporting victims through:

    Independent Domestic Violence Advisors

We support high risk victims of domestic abuse through the Criminal and Civil Justice System and give them a voice at the Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC).

    Pattern Changing for abused womend

Pattern Changing is an educational course for women who are, or have been, in an abusive relationship. It is designed to help victims understand domestic violence, and help them plan how to move forward with their life.

    Make the Change Programme

BCHA have recently introduced the Make the Change Programme, a structured group work intervention programme for male voluntary participants, designed to address abusive behaviour in relationships.
