Support offered to voluntary and community organisations

Our organisation does not offer services to individuals however we offer support, representation, training and other services towards the development of voluntary and community based organisations. 

Training

We offer regular training programmes each year with a range of workshops and training sessions, covering:

• governance
• financial management
• sustainable funding
• commissioning
• good management skills
• legal responsibilities
• personal development for staff, trustees and volunteers.

Representation
We enable effective and accountable representation of the voluntary and community sector in South Gloucestershire.

Meeting Local Need
We identify gaps in voluntary and community sector services and in the development of appropriate projects to meet the needs of communities in South Gloucestershire.

• The Chase & Kings Forest Community Project
• The Volunteer Centre Partnership South Gloucestershire, and other voluntary and statutory sector organisations.

We support voluntary and community organisations by providing

Group Development: One to one support for developing your group, Management and trustee roles and responsibilities.

Networks and representation: Representation on strategic partnerships to promote the interests of the voluntary sector.
