About Early Intervention Accommodation Project

The Early Intervention Accommodation
Project (EIAP) is a partnership of people from the Police, the Probation Services,
Housing (Alliance Homes) and landlords who are working together to provide suitable, stable accommodation and
support to individuals who want to turn their lives around.

Pathways Covered

Accommodation Attitudes, thinking and behaviour
  • While providing accommodation
is important, we also know that
    individuals need support to help
    them to maintain their homes
and this is where we can help.

We provide support to individuals in need of accomoodation to find suitable homes to suit their needs. We work as a collaborative partnership to ensure you have the best chance of maintaining a successful tenancy.

  • In its first year the project helped over 130 people to get back on track and make positive

changes in their lives. We hope to work successfully with landlords to help many more.

We match individuals in need of housing to be placed into accommodation that best suits their circumstances. We help with applying for benefits, negotiation and advocay between individuals and their landlords and enable any issues that may arise to be address swiftly and apporpriately to ensure the best chance of maintaining a successful tenancy.

Lanlords are provided with wrap around support also, alongisde a bond scheme to cover any damamge that may occur to their property.

  • We currently have access to a number of properties across N. Somerset which is expanding regularly. We also have a variety of property types from single units to multiple occupancy.
