About LIFT Psychology BaNES

LIFT Psychology service is now live in Bath and North East Somerset. We offer a high quality service that includes traditional IAPT interventions plus additional support for a range of mental health concerns including anxiety and depression, mood management, anger management etc.

Pathways Covered

Mental and physical health
  • We provide assessment and treatment for mood related issues for individuals across BaNES. Treatment options are flexible and tailored to suit individual need and can be offered on a 1:1 or group basis.

  • We aim to help people feel as comfortable and as welcome as possible, so no-one will be asked to do anything that they do not wish to.  There are no “ice-breaker” exercises and no-one will be asked to speak individually.  However, if you want to share a thought or experience or ask a question, then you are more than welcome to do so.

We aim to see people quickly and have the shortest waiting times in the region.  We also try to make coming to an appointment as convenient as we can.

We provide a wide variety of support including:

    • Principles of relaxation
    • Stress and mood management
    • Anger awareness

    Books on prescription
    - this service is delivered in conjunction with BaNES Libraries. This allows GP's and mental health practitioners to prescribe self help books on a range of mental health topics.

You can see a list of the available books by viewing the library catalogues:
