About BGSW Community Rehabilitation Company
Bristol, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire (BGSW) Community Rehabilitation Company (CRC) provides Probation services for all offenders bar those posing the highest risk. The later are managed by the National Probation Service.
The aim of the organisation is to help people rehabilitate and lead more positive lives. This reduces reoffending, reduces the number of victims of crime, restores communities and saves taxpayers millions of pounds.

Overview
Programmes aimed at addressing certain attitudes, thinking and behaviour
What we do
BGSW hold a potfolio of programmes which can meet different requirements. You may be reuired to complete one of these programmes as part of your conviction or your probation officer may be able to refer you in if appropriate. Programmes include
- Building better relationships
- Positive relationships
- Thinking skills
- RESOLVE
- Keeping Calm
- Drinking Impaired Drivers
- Control of Violence for Angry Impulsive Drinkers (COVAID)

- Unpaid work opportunities
- CV writing workshops
- In work-support to overcome the early barriers in employment.
- Access to training
- Life skills including time keeping, communication and personal presentation

Access to advice and support relating to your finances
What we do
Financial support is offer through the Money Advice Service and Talking Money. You are able to access everything from specialist debt advice to general budgeting skills.

Overview
BGSW offer specialist womens services via outreach centres depending on you location
What we do
These outreach services can provide support in the following areas
– accommodation
– attitudes, thinking and behaviour
– children, families and relationships
– domestic abuse, violence and rape
– drugs and alcohol
– education, training and employment
– finance, benefits and debt
– health and wellbeing
– sex work
Where we do it
There are locations covering Bristol, South Gloucestershire and Wiltshire.
