Floating Support / Youth Intervention Support Service Worker with 1625 Independent
People
This is a combination of two roles which are remunerated separately. 21.5 hours a week YISS (Youth Intervention Support Service) Worker and 15 hours a week Housing Floating Support Worker.
On an average day you will visit a number of young people on your caseload where they are staying, complete support plans and risk assessments, look at options for work and training, staff drop in advice sessions.
Main duties include:
* Engaging a caseload of vulnerable young people in accessing work and training options and addressing any barriers to this.
* Engaging a caseload of vulnerable young people in developing independence skills to find and keep accommodation.
* Staffing drop in sessions for care leavers around work and training.
