Turn Your Volunteering Into Paid Work: Weds 8th October, 10.30am – 12pm

Some people wonder why others would bother to give their time for free. This session will explore the employment benets of volunteering. Filling gaps in your CV, getting recent experience, securing a reference, and helping you gain the skills you need for the job you want.

Identifying Barriers to Work: Weds 29th October, 10.30am – 12pm

Many people assume that certain experiences will prevent them from working. This session will explore common barriers to nding paid work, and give you information and tools to help overcome them.

Identifying the Skills You Didn’t Know You Had: Weds 19th November, 10.30am – 12pm

All experiences help us develop skills, but sometimes it isn’t obvious how. This session will consider skills that might have been developed through experiences which are not necessarily seen as positive e.g. addiction recovery or reconnecting to your community after illness.

Places are limited so booking is required.

You can book on to all of the sessions, or just the ones that feel most useful for you. Everyone who attends will receive an attendance certicate and signposting factsheets. If there is anything we can do to make it easier for you to come along please let us know.
