Services we Provide

Overview

SMART stands for ‘Self Management And Recovery Training’. SMART Recovery is a science-based program to help people manage their recovery from addictive behaviour. This includes addictive behaviour with substances such as alcohol, nicotine or drugs, or compulsive behaviours such as gambling, sex, eating, shopping, self-harming and so on.

What we do

We help people recover from addictive behaviour and lead meaningful and satisfying lives. Our approach is secular and science based; using motivational, behavioural and cognitive methods within a supportive structured group setting.

The approach delivers relaxed group sessions that teach self empowerment and self reliance.

It helps you to look at the beliefs you hold about your addictive behaviour and whether this is helpful or unhelpful, whilst supporting you to increase your motivation and realise your goals.
