About West Somerset Advice Bureau

West Somerset Advice Bureau is an independent organisation, established in 1979, and provides free and confidential advice.

It is a registered charitable company and is affiliated to Advice UK. Like Citizens Advice Bureaux, it operates with a team of trained and experienced volunteer advisers supported by part-time salaried staff.

Advice is offered across a broad range of matters including debt and welfare benefits, employment, housing, consumer matters, legal and relationship problems.

West Somerset Advice Bureau (WSAB) provides or assists in the provision of the best confidential advice and information service to meet the needs of the people who live and work in West Somerset.

What we do

Our help is FREE. We provide a confidential, non-judgmental, and impartial service. We will not discuss your query with anyone unless you authorise us to do so.

By email, please complete the attached form.

Between 10.00am and 3.00pm, a receptionist will answer your call and take a message if there are no advisers available.  From 3.00pm till 10.00am there is an answering machine in use. Except at weekends we will always try to call back within 24 hours.
