If you are homeless, threatened with homelessness, or would just like advice on housing, you should go to your local District Council or (if you have one) speak to your support worker who can make a referral into a supportive service for you.

Your situation will be assessed and support will be provided accordingly. You may be referred on to the specialist Housing Advice Team, who can help in a number of ways.

If you feel that you are homeless or threatened with homelessness, please contact our Housing Options team on 01935 462462 to make an appointment to see an Officer. The Officer's aim will be to see if we can prevent you from becoming homeless.

Dependant upon your circumstances, we will either offer you advice and assistance or take a homeless application from you.

The Housing Options team are based in the One Stop Shops, they can give you confiendtial adivice to prevent you from becoming homeless or about what to do if you are already homeless.

Call 01454 865496 to speak to a housing advisor. The telephone line is open 8.45am-5pm Monday to Thursday and 8.45am-4.30pm on Friday. If you become homeless outside these times, you can ring the emergency duty team on 01454 868686.

Homelessness Support in North Somerset

North Somerset - Emergency Duty Team

Visit our housing advisors at the Town Hall in Weston-super-Mare between 9.30am and 3.30pm Monday to Friday. If you become homeless after 6pm on a weekday, or at any time at weekends and bank holidays, call the housing emergency duty team on 01454 615 165.
